Indigo Wings by A. Gordon
I entered this world with Crimson Jewel and my mind has lingered there ever since. This extraordinary story continues in the Fiefdom among giants. You don’t have to read the first, but I think you should.
In Indigo Wings, Delta takes us on a journey with Loch. The story envelops the reader in a world of magic, betrayal, and a forbidden love like no other. Delta just wanted a safe place to exist after surviving post-apocalyptic Alaska. Somewhere safe.
The giants needed mates but he wasn’t interested, until he sensed her blood calling to him. He found he couldn’t live without her, a blood lust beyond want, a need.
Then one night, things went a little too far and he hesitated. His hesitation left the door open for other giants and trouble. Danger lurks with an obsession, a toxic fixation that could end in death.
Delta has a way with animals, majestic animals-- the Pegasus. If you don’t already dream of riding one, you will after you read this!
Here’s what I know:
The suspense is gripping. The love scenes will burn you up in a good way. The spice is balanced and well executed. The only regret you’ll have is that you’ll want to live there, for real.
I was one of the first readers for this book. After several months, I can still close my eyes and stand with the vivid characters and the dynamic story playing in my mind.
I don’t want to let too many details slip, the fun is in the experience – and it’s an AWESOME one!
lta's dark journey will break your heart and fill it at the same time. The writing enchants the reader. You'll champion Delta and despise those that betray her. I was so emotionally invested that I laughed, I cried, and I got angry. There’re a few people to hate on, and that makes loving the others an even better experience.
This one makes you feel all of the things and it stays with you. I will reread this one.
Every time you want an adventure in another world, this is where you'll want to be.
My rating: 5+/ 5⭐ ( I would give it more if I could.)
-It’s well written.
-The characters are memorable and relatable, even I want a giant. What?
- The world is a place you’ll want to stay.
-What really got me were the relationships with the Pegasus and the other magical creatures – you’ll have to read if you want more details. Every brilliant story has animals, and this is a brilliant story.
