The Third Gilmore Girl by Kelly Bishop

The Third Gilmore Girl (audiobook) by Kelly Bishop
I chose the audiobook because I love Kelly Bishop’s voice. (Maybe from watching countless hours of Gilmore Girls with my girls) Her voice is just smooth and comforting, listening to her story is just like sitting down and having a conversation with her about life. It’s just pleasant. Her story is remarkable, full of achievement, triumph, grief, and joy. This book just levels her out as a regular person who has lead an extraordinary life.
Favorite quote: “Don’t cry because you think your best days are gone, smile because you had them in the first place.”
It was a pleasure getting to know Kelly Bishop through her memoir. 5/5⭐️

You Never Know by Tom Selleck

You Never Know: A Memoir by Tom Seleck

What can I say? I have adored Tom Seleck since I was a child and met him as Magnum PI on television in my living room in the 1980s.

I listened to the audiobook because I relish listening to his mellow voice with such a masterful storytelling quality. His charismatic nature takes you through his life and brilliant career. He is a private person, so not a lot of personal secrets are revealed but this takes you through his career and all the experiences he was gifted with in a wonderful acting career. I learned a lot and I admire him even more.

What a career, life, and a love for acting! 5/5⭐

Talking AS Fast As I Can

Talking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham

Lauren Graham does an excellent job revealing her experiences working in Hollywood and describing the layers of friendships with her co-stars on Gilmore Girls. As a fan of the show and Lauren, I thought this was a great opportunity learning about her experiences from her perspective and reflections.

Beautiful audiobook experience! 4/5⭐
