After a car share adventure home from college, Alex and Poppy became best friends. Complete opposites, one who loves to stay home and read, the other is filled with wanderlust. The two stick together from a distance. Through ten summer trips, they manage to keep their friendship solid, until two years ago. Every summer for a decade they shared a vacation no matter what.

Poppy now has everything that she thought she wanted, but happiness. Alex is missing in her life, cut off, they haven’t spoken in two years. She came up with the idea to convince Alex to go on one more trip with her. She decided to put everything on the line and Alex agreed.

Poppy has one week to fix everything. There is one giant truth they have danced around for years and until they address it, their friendship is at risk.

I loved everything! Wonderful story and beautiful characters.

I love the tension between the characters, the back story of their trips together.

The flirty camaraderie and the devotion to keep their friendship nurtured was just beautiful. Excellent writing.
