The Time Hop Coffee Shop by Phaedra Patrick

Greta perks was a coffee star, staring with her family in iconic commercials. With her marriage crumbling and her career fading, she longs for the life she imagined was perfection. On a walk, she stumbles upon an eccentric coffee shop offering customized brews and granting wishes. Her wish takes her to Mapleville, the quintessential perfect place, where the sun always shines, smiles are plentiful, and everything seems perfect.

With this opportunity she can live the life of her dreams just like her old coffee commercials. Greta has to choose between what she thinks is perfection or finding what’s wrong. She has one chance to choose with no turning back. Is one better than the other?

This was different from Phaedra Patrick’s other books. Filled with magical realism, it was enchanting but a little slow. It took me a while to get into it because my first impression was that it was too sing-songy and repetitive. Give it a change because the story is a sweet journey of self-discovery and second chances. Overall, I really enjoyed it.

I would like to Thank NetGalley for the opportunity to review an ARC of this title. The opinions expressed here are my own. 4/5⭐
