Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

Whoa!

Stop the boat! This was something else!

This book had a lot packed into it and the characters were so relatable, loveable and detestable. They were well developed.

Louisa Clark was an extraordinary character. In the story she evolved. She learned to love deeply with everything. She saw more in herself because of Will. Hers was a case of true self-discovery.

I think Will grew in his ability to love outside of himself.

There was so much hope throughout the book.

In the book you have self-absorbed parents who actually bully their child who is supporting them. There is a sister that was a total self-absorbed, entitled arse. The boyfriend was something else and yet his purpose still evades me. The book was good because most of the characters evolved, they grew and gained something as part of the story.

I don’t want to say too much, but I really recommend that you read it. It isn’t your typical sappy romance and it has depth and a whole lot of emotions, especially if you get into the characters and in tune with Lou.

Wonderful writing, loved the whole thing! I read the book, listened to the audiobook, and watched movie. They were all great! 4/5⭐
