The Banned Book Club by Brenda Novak
Gia Rossi returns to Wakefield, Iowa to help care for her mother.
She left in shame when the town divided after she accused a teacher of sexual misconduct.
She left behind a book club that she started when the PTA cut the school reading list. After all these years, it still exists. As she opens old wounds and faces unhealed scars, she finds support in places she never thought to look. The found family and friendships are just wonderful.
This was a great story! I really enjoyed it. I loved the strength of Gia’s character and how the story was structured. 4/5⭐
