What an incredibly twisted story!
I was impressed with the twists in this one! It was creepy, strange and addictive. I was glued to the pages to see what was coming next!
Grady Green, a somewhat successful author gets an exciting call and wants to share the news with his wife. She answers her phone on the way home, when she slams on the brakes, Grady is on the phone begging her to not get out, she does, and she disappears.
A year later, at his agent's suggestion, Grady goes to a remote Scottish island for some down time and hopefully some inspiration. There, he sees a woman that looks like his wife and then things get crazy!
I really love it when an author gets so creative I don't know what to expect, this was exactly that! Unexpected and so good, I loved it! 4/5⭐
