The Lost Passenger by Frances Quinn

Elinor was trapped in a marriage of convenience with an aristocratic family that needed her father’s fortune more than they wanted her.

With rigid social restraints, she was barely allowed contact with her infant son. Misery was her daily existence until her father gifted them passage on the maiden voyage of the Titanic. This offer of a sixteen-day reprieve and escape filled her with hope.

When the ship sank, Elinor took the opportunity to escape her life and find a new one in New York.

She struggled to survive, thrive and keep her secret. In the end she recreated her life with the defining values her father had passed on.

Another survivor recognized her from a news story, and he sought the opportunity to make money. She saw a need to flee in desperation.

A gripping decision changes everything and Elinor is forced to choose which direction to go.

A thrilling Historical fiction novel with beautiful heartwarming characters and found family, I loved it!

I was invested in the story and the characters. Wonderfully written! 4.5/5⭐
