The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager

Another stunning thriller by Riley Sager! Nobody does twists like he does! I am a true fan.

When Emma was at camp fifteen years ago, she watched her three bunk mates walk out of their cabin and never return. For all of those years the mystery has haunted her and she buried the story in the background of her art.

Presently, she has been invited to return to camp as an art instructor for the camp as it reopens for one last time.

Nothing seems quite right at Camp Nightingale. Emma is disturbed by memories and unanswered questions. Suspicion and guilt slam into her when she finds a security camera aimed at her cottage. She finds clues left from the past. Her current cabin mates disappear and she must face an unknown threat along with suspicion of a haunted past as the twisted history of the camp is revealed.

Just as you make assumptions – the twists grab you and throw you in another direction.

The book was a slow burn in parts but enjoy that, immerse yourself and embrace the connections – you still won’t guess the ending! Loved it! 4.5/5⭐
