The Haunting of Hecate Cavandesh by Paula Brackston
This was an entertaining story!
Hecate was a young woman paving her own way in 19th-century England. She lands a job as a librarian assistant at Hereford Cathedral. The position proves more interesting than she could have imagined as she develops her gift of seeing and communicating with ghosts.
There is a mix of mystery and adventure with delightful characters and fantasy elements. I really loved it! 4/5⭐
