Remember Party lines – shared phone lines where people listened in, true food for gossip! (Most are probably too young!)

Lila Mathews inherits her Aunt Gracie’s farm, complete with strawberries and secrets. Ditto, Texas has speculated about Gracie’s secret for years, and when she dies, Lila inherits the farm and the big secret. After reconnecting with her roots, and learning a lot about herself along the way, Lila has to decide whether to keep Gracie’s secret.

Gracie had two great loves in life and as a young teen, she picked up the party line and heard something that changed her life forever. This is a beautifully written story about self-discovery, love and sacrifice. I really enjoyed it! 4/5⭐
