This is a beautiful story of blended family!
Lila Kennedy is carrying a complicated load on her shoulders, a broken marriage, a house that needs a lot of work, two girls, a step-father and biological father that quietly move in, and one complicated love life! -Overwhelming to say the least! And her job is not going well.
There is heartache, betrayal, and forgiveness. It has all of the things- an ex-husband you want to hate, a father that disappeared for decades, a step-father that is supportive and grieving, a job that isn’t “working well”, and two kids that seem to need more than their mom has to give.
This story is full of life lessons, and real people. The characters are just so relatable and well developed, the reader can just step in and join the story! I loved experiencing this book! Another awesome story from Jojo Moyes! 4/5⭐
