This is a fast-paced and intriguing with well developed characters that are either likable or despicable and so relatable.
Walter Nash is a top-notch guy with a great home and family. He is at the height of his career and content in life. His father, a Vietnam-vet, dies and after the service, Walter gets a visit from the FBI.
They are recruiting him to be their inside man to take his company down.
Once he agrees, he is surprised by Victoria Steers, the mastermind behind the illegal operations. She turns the tables on him in a way he didn’t anticipate and it becomes a game of survival and revenge.
This is a fast-paced page-turner. Baldacci keeps you on the edge from beginning to end. Walter Nash will captivate you as he is forced to fight and become someone, he himself doesn’t recognize in order to survive.

I enjoyed everything about this and wanted more! I can’t wait until the next book! I relished the excellent audio production, the voice given to the characters was distinct and just phenomenal! Wonderful narration! 5/5⭐
