When We Were Friends by Jane Green
Friendship is not always what it seems. Lucy takes on life as a single parent after her recent divorce. She finds an immediate friend in Elle. They become inseparable until they aren’t.
Elle changes and Lucy blames herself as a consequence of having little confidence.
This short story was full of hope, friendship, betrayal, forgiveness and self-discovery. I enjoyed it! 3/5⭐
